MENTOR HIGH PROGRAM LOCATED AT LAKELAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE

PROGRAM OUTCOMES:
Successful completion of the program will provide the student with:

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

  • Manual drafting and CAD drawing techniques

  • Use of measuring tools

  • Northeast Ohio Robotics Competition

  • Northeast Ohio Robotics Competition

  • Metallurgy concepts

  • 3-D solid modeling (SolidWorks)

  • Engineering design concepts

  • Product fabrication processes including: casting techniques, welding, plastics, hot and cold forming of metals

  • Heat treating and mechanical testing

 

POSSIBLE CERTIFICATIONS:

Certified Solid Works Associate (CSWA)

CareerSafe OSHA (10 hour)

Academic Day:                     

Students remain at Lakeland Community College for program time only. Students return to home schools for academics.
