MENTOR HIGH PROGRAM LOCATED AT LAKELAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES:

Successful completion of the program will provide the student with:

 

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

  • Computer and mobile application development

  • Database design and programming

  • Web Design, development, and scripting

  • Software development methods

  • Implement business applications

  • Design solutions using critical thinking

  • Create team projects and presentations

POSSIBLE CERTIFICATIONS:

Students may elect to continue their studies and are encouraged to look into industry certifications for Microsoft, Oracle and IBM.

Junior Year:

Visual programming 

Object - oriented programming

Analysis and design using Waterfall

Web design, CSS, and scripting

Senior Year:

Database design and programming 

Mobile applications

Ethical hacking

Analysis and design using Agile 

Capstone experience

 

Academic Day:

Students remain at Lakeland Community College for program time only. Students return to home schools for academics.
