PROGRAM OUTCOMES:

Successful completion of the program will provide the student with:

 

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

  • HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ) regulatory compliance guidelines

  • Basic knowledge of insurance and billing

  • Effective use of EHR (Electronic Health Record) software

  • Monitoring of patient charts for completeness and accuracy in documentation

  • Foundational knowledge of medical terminology

  • Law & ethics for healthcare professionals

  • Critical thinking

  • Teambuilding

  • Project and presentation skills

State Test Nursing Assistant (STNA)

Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS)

Academic Day:                     

Students remain at Euclid High School for program time only (juniors will travel to Tri-C for STNA training).  Students return to home schools for academics.
