CISCO heads to Columbus for BPA State Competition

 The Cisco Networking Career Tech program, after an impressive performance, is heading to State. Students participated in then Business Professionals of America Region 18 competition last week. Students took home 11 plaques by placing in the top 4 of the events they entered.  Every student in the program placed in the top ten of the region which consisted of students from Parma, Normandy, Maple Hts, Bedford high schools, Cuyahoga County Career Center and EOTC.

Four Students, Connor Hoffman, Justin Fike, Alex Ridevski, and Brandon Harber, will be advancing to the State competition in Columbus March 16 and 17. This marks the 9th year in a row students from the program will compete at the State competition.  Last year students from the program won the National competition in Boston in two events, Systems Administration Using Cisco and Computer Networking Technology.Placing in each competition were:
