Cisco Goes to States - 10 Years in a Row

Students from the Euclid High School 's Cisco Academy Career Tech Program competed in the Business Professionals of America Regional Competition last week. They participated in events that simulate industry recognized certification tests in the Networking and Cybersecurity fields. Three students advanced to the State Competition in Columbus, Ohio and will compete on March 8 and 9th. This marks the 10th year in a row that students from the program have advanced to the State Competition. Congratulations to Jeremy Morton and Chris Wright who will advance in Computer Network Technology, which is based on the CompTia Network+ Certification. Kaitlynn Wheeler will participate in the Systems Administration Using Cisco which is based on the Cisco CCENT certification. Ashawn Berry and Colin Bowser also placed in the Top Ten at Regionals.
