Students from the Euclid High School/Lake Shore Compact Career Tech Cisco Academy Program competed in the Business Professionals of America Regional Competition last week. They participated in events that simulate industry recognized certification tests in the Networking and Cybersecurity fields. Five students advanced to the State Competition that will be in Columbus, Ohio on March 14 and 15th. This marks the 11h year in a row that students from the program have advanced to the State Competition.
Congratulations go out to Jeremy Morton and Casey Barrett who will advance in Computer Network Technology which is based on the CompTia Network+ Certification. Colin Bowser and Nate Mawunya will participate in the Systems Administration Using Cisco which is based on the Cisco CCENT Certification. Vansh Kasabwala will represent the program in the Computer Security competition. Ashawn Berry, Natalia Gray, Nate Johnson, and Amanda James also placed in the Top Ten at Regional.
