11 Allied Health Students Qualify For The HOSA-Future Health Professionals State Competition

We are excited to congratulate our 11 Lake Shore Compact students who qualified for the State HOSA competition at Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio on March 24th and 25th. Six of our students qualified to state by finishing 1st in their regional competition!
 
HOSA – Future Health Professionals, formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America, is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education. HOSA’s mission is to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in HSE programs. HOSA is 100% health care!
